Our Policy

Avenon Academy and the Avenon Institute for Education Innovation take precautions to protect your information for your security and to respect the privacy of our online visitors.  We do not require you to register or provide information to us in order to view our site and we only gather personally identifiable data, such as names, addresses, zip/postal codes, e-mail addresses, etc., when voluntarily submitted by a visitor.

While we use encryption to protect sensitive information should it be transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, billing or customer service) are granted access to personally identifiable information. 

We only share personally identifiable information with third parties when (i) the person submitting the information authorizes us to share it; (ii) sharing the information is a necessary operation of the site, for instance, to process a credit card transaction, or (iii) we are required to by law. We have no control over or responsibility for the data collection and use practices of third parties that process online donation credit card transactions.

We welcome children to learn more about our organization and, where appropriate, find opportunities to serve their communities through programs and volunteer activities. However, we encourage this to be done only with their parent’s knowledge and supervision.

Avenon Academy and the Avenon Institute for Education Innovation will not rent, share, or exchange mailing lists with third parties, including other nonprofit organizations. Data such as names, addresses, ZIP or postal codes, e‐mail addresses, etc. are used exclusively to distribute postal and e‐mail announcements regarding information about our programming and organization, or to facilitate online donations when requested.
